Troop 771

Annapolis, MD

About Us

Some details about our Troop and the people behind it.

Welcome to troop 771

A great place to be!

We are a troop that tries to be the very best in our area, and we'd love to have you along. Troop 771 has lots of fun activities and opportunities to help young men grow to their fullest potential. In addition, we are financially stable and have a track record of over 42 years.

Advancements, Scout to Eagle:

The scouting path begins with the rank of Scout, and continues through six ranks all the way up to Eagle.

The national average of scouts attaining Eagle is 4%. Over the past 42 years, Troop 771 has awarded 60 Eagle ranks - a success rate of over 15%. Scouts are urged to advance at their own pace, constantly challenging themselves and broadening their horizons.

Parental involvement:

At this level of scouting, the scouts plan and execute their activities. But they can't do it without the help of dedicated and committed parents. When a scout joins our troop, parents are encouraged to participate in their experience. For many parents, as their sons grow older, this is the last time they will be sharing their boy's lives so closely and it can be highly rewarding. No matter what a parent's interests or schedule, we'd love to have your help.
